 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING PLENUM TO TABLE 1. Place the plenum on the bottom side of the table with the 40” side along the width of the table and the 38” side along the length of the table (the 48” side of the table). Center the plenum on the table: locate it 5” from each table edge along the length, and equal distances from each table edge along the width. 1. Attach the plenum to the table with the wood screws and washers provided. START at the central dimple in the plenum, and continue to the next consecutive dimple (to prevent buckling) inserting one screw in each of the nine dimples. Then, insert one screw in each corner along the edge of the plenum, and 5 screws on each side of the plenum along its edge, spacing the screws approximately equidistance. (A total of 33 screws for each plenum). 1. Apply a thin strip of caulk with the caulking gun provided, along the edges between the plenum and wood. (If it becomes necessary to remove the plenum at a later time, first remove the screws, and then cut through the caulking with a razor knife). 1. Place the table tops into the assembled steel frame, noting that the pipe connector nipples of the plenums are located along the same side of the table. 1. When attaching pipe to the plenum, insert the pipe into the plenum nipple and secure with 2 wood screws. It is NOT necessary to apply caulk to the pipe.
